All of these images are created from one single photographic long exposure. some images taking over 10 minutes to complete the attempt. I would aim my camera at a reflective surface. Usually a lake or a low tide area, I found some concrete slabs I wet down. I use puddles and did some in a cave. Two were made in morocco. Once I had a reflective surface I would make a steel wool spin and make the other features with lights and various specialized lightpainting tools. Once I had the image I would mirror it in photoshop.

Red Canyon after flash floods, Zion National park twice. We met 10 other lightpainters in Withe Pocket Arizona. Thank Dan Chick, Nancy Nguyen, Gunnar Heilman, Natalia Chinquera, Zach Smith, Marguerita Ruberia, Ingrid Schneller, Jake Clayson, Russel Klimas, and Juli Thornton. It was the best time.
